Day 1: Arrival in Arusha, Tanzania

A Warrior Adventures representative will be at the Kilimanjaro International Airport to welcome you and transfer you to Arusha for overnight at Gran Meliá Arusha Hotel.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast you will be picked up from Gran Meliá Arusha at 8:30 AM by your driver/guide and depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. Lake Manyara National Park offers a wilderness experience rich in diverse habitats, from its Rift Valley soda lake to its dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Apart from a spectacular setting, the park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant herds it was established to protect. The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. Large herds of buffalo, cheetah, Maasai giraffe and impala roam the lake shores and the forested valley slopes.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Morning departure after breakfast, we drive to Ngorongoro crater for a full day game drive, with Picnic lunch boxes. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers an area of 8,300 sq km, with a deep volcanic crater at its center, the largest unbroken caldera in the world. The crater is undoubtedly the jewel in the crown - an area that is about 300 sq km in area, 610 meters deep and 20 km wide. The rim of the crater is an astounding 2,286 meters above sea level. The floor contains a small soda lake called Lake Magadi and it is estimated that around 30,000 animals live in the crater, making it the most intensive safari wildlife viewing area on earth.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

After relaxed breakfast, head towards the Serengeti National Park by way of the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you descend into the heart of wild Africa; into the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains rolling in the distance as far as the eye can see. You will head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. The Seronera River provides a valuable water source to this area of the park and attracts wildlife well represented of most of the Serengeti species.

Day 5: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

After breakfast, full day game drive in Serengeti National Park (early morning, mid and afternoon game drives). Serengeti National Park covers an area of 14,763 sq km, making it the largest national park in Tanzania. The park is located about 320 km north-west of Arusha, lying in a high plateau between the Ngorongoro highlands and the Kenyan-Tanzanian border, and extending almost to Lake Victoria to the west.

Day 6: Central - Northern Serengeti National Park

After breakfast depart for Northern Serengeti National Park, en-route game drive, with picnic lunch boxes, afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park.

Day 7: Gurumet Mara River Migration Crossing

After breakfast, you will have a full day game drive along Grumeti Mara River waiting & watching Wildebeest Crossing

Day 8: Full Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

We depart for game drive from 8:30Am until 11:30 Am. Return to the camp for a hot lunch. Game drive again in the afternoon from 1:30pm until 5:30pm. Return to Sayari Camp for Overnight.

Day 9: Serengeti National Park - Lake Natron

After breakfast, you will travel along adventurous dirt tracks with breath-taking views as your vehicle climbs out of the Rift Valley to reach the Lake Natron by midday.

Day 10: Lake Natron & Maasai Village

A full day to explore the area: Lake Natron (Flamingoes!), hike to a waterfall in a deep gorge, visit a Maasai village etc. If you are up to the challenge and a very strenuous climb, you can opt for a climb to Mt. Oldonyo Lengai volcano.

Day 11: Lake Natron - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will be driven to Tarangire National Park, the third largest national park in Tanzania. There will be many opportunities for game viewing as we drive through the park. After a stop for lunch at Tarangire Treetops Lodge, you will have time to unpack and maybe rest before the afternoon game drive. Tarangire contains a range of ecosystems from grassland and woodlands in the north, to scrub and wetlands further south. The Tarangire river cuts through the park and empties into Lake Burunge in the west. Tarangire boasts one of the largest and most conspicuous elephant populations in East Africa. There are large family groups with many calves being born each year as the population continues to recover from the devastating effects of poaching in the eighties. You will see herds of elephants and experience close contact with the matriarchs, the babies, teenagers, and bulls. Your close contact will help you in understanding these incredible animals. Spend several hours surrounded by the herds and you cannot help but feel their wisdom. Tarangire is also known for its abundant baobab trees, most of which are over 400 years, old and the beautiful landscape.

Tarangire Treetops Lodge Living A Dream High in the Trees. Many a childhood would have been spent playing in the world of 'make-believe'. Within this imaginary existence many of us will have climbed and played high up in the bows and branches and, for the lucky few, built a 'palace' in the sky. Day 12: game drive in Tarangire National park then drive to Arusha

After breakfast we drive to Tarangire National Park for another morning a game drive until 11:30 AM we drive back the Lodge for hot lunch, thereafter, we drive to Arusha for Overnight.

Day 13: Arusha Town - Arusha National Park

Depart from Arusha town at 9: AM and drive to Arusha National Park. You will enjoy a half-day guided walking safari through the forest to the waterfall and the natural beauty of the hills, mountains and river beds begging to be explored. Expect to see endless acres of forest, welcoming black and white colobus monkeys, zebras, buffalos and a lot of antelopes. You will also have a chance to observe more than 400 bird species including Crowned Eagle, Lanner Falcon, and Levaillants Cuckoo. Late we drive back to Gran Meliá Arusha for overnight.

Day 14: Arusha City Tour & Depart to Zanzibar

After breakfast leave for Arusha city tour. Arusha is a city in northern Tanzania, the capital of the Arusha Region, with a projected population of 1,288,088, including 516,000 for District (2007 census). The city of Arusha is surrounded by some of Africa's most famous landscapes and national parks. After lunch, you will be transferred to Arusha airport for your domestic flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, Warrior Adventures Representative will be at the Zanzibar Airport to welcome you and transfer you to Kilindi Zanzibar for overnight. Ocean Suite (sea view room)

Day 15: Zanzibar

After breakfast, today the choice is yours between the spice tour or the stone town old city tour. Spice Tour Zanzibar famous known as the ‘Spice Island, or in Swahili language Marashi ya karafuu is a succulent green getaway filled with exotic species of spices and plants whilst on your spice tour you will have an opportunity to taste, smell and see how the various spices and fruits are grown, the tour will end up with a visit to the Kidichi Persian baths and the Maruhubi Palace ruins. In the afternoon you are transferred to Nungwi for maximum relaxation at Paradise Beach Resort Zanzibar. Stone Town Tour After breakfast you will be leaving the hotel involve in a guided tour of Stone Town, where is the center of Zanzibar’s culture, You will discover the lavishly decorated buildings and intricately carved doors also you will visit the famous slave market where now the Anglican Church stands some time called the House of Wonders.

Day 16: Zanzibar

Day 17: Village Tour in Zanzibar

After breakfast, a Village Tour where you will visit the dhow building capital of Zanzibar and the local aquarium where injured turtles are nursed back to health. See their community initiatives at work in the village itself including visits to the local nursery school and Labayka Development Fund. Overnight at Kilindi Zanzibar. Ocean Suite (sea view room)
