Day 1 : Fly to Kilimanjaro International airport Arusha, TanzaniaYou will fly into Kilimanjaro Intentional Airport; here you will be met by a representative and driven through the impressive coffee plantations of Arusha to where you will spend your first night. Here you can relax and refresh after the long-haul flight, lounge by the turquoise waters of the swimming pool, or participate in a coffee plantation tour.

Day 2 : Arusha National ParkAn early morning will immerses us in the African wild we always dreamed about. The topography of this small park is amazingly varied including grassy plains, montane forest, volcanic craters, swamps, and saline lakes. On clear days we have excellent views of Mount Meru and of Mount Kilimanjaro. We can choose to game drive, to go on a game walk escorted by an armed ranger, or to do a canoe ride on one of the soda lakes. We hope to see giraffe, buffalo and black and white colobus monkeys, as well as some of the shy forest antelope – bushbuck, red duiker and maybe suni.

Days 3 - 4 : Tarangire National ParkYour private guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park where your northern Tanzania sojourn will begin. The landscape of Tarangire is dramatic - towering, fat baobabs dot the plains, interspersed with thick bush which leopard and lion like to hunt among; it's a super park for some great game-viewing in the company of your expert guide. Activities in this stunning park are of course focused around safari, offering you a chance to fully immerse yourself in what this park has to offer. Here you get it all - excellent game drives in search of Tarangire’s resident carnivores and huge elephant population, game walks in quiet areas where you can get closer to the smaller fauna and flora which you wouldn’t typically see from a safari vehicle, and search for the more elusive nocturnal special on exciting night drives.

Days 5 - 6 : Ngorongoro CraterFrom Tarangire you will be transferred by 4x4 vehicle to the Ngorongoro Crater where you will spend the next two nights exploring this natural wonder with your own guide. This World Heritage Site really is not to be missed, as the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera it is already a spectacular sight to behold, but the crater floor is also filled with a plethora of animals including the Big Five. Spend your days on safari and then enjoy the spectacular sunset over the crater in the evening with a cool glass of wine in hand. It will undoubtedly be a highlight of your safari.

Days 7 - 9 : Serengeti National ParkFor your final few days you will fly to the heart of the Serengeti and spend three nights in one of the most famous National Parks in the world. As the Serengeti is so vast there are many corners to explore with varying habitats, therefore the best way to see as much as possible is on the twice daily game drives. Game viewing can be truly unbelievable, particularly when the migration is in town. It's impossible not to be awed by the sight of nearly a million wildebeest and half a million zebra. Aside from the migration the Serengeti is still a wildlife hot spot and offers some of the most spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities in the whole of East Africa. To top off an already great trip, there is the option of floating above these endless plains in a hot air balloon, which is certainly something to tick off the bucket list.

Day 10: Fly from Serengeti National park to Arusha AirportAfter breakfast we drive toward the Kogatende Airstrip game drive en-route. Boarding your scheduled flight to Arusha airport from Serengeti National Park, we will be stopping for lunch at Fifi´s Restaurant & Café. Later enjoy the benefits of day accommodations at the The Arusha Hotel before a late transfer to Kilimanjaro Intentional airport for your return flight home.
